Bless You...

Good Monday Morning
did I hear someone sneeze?
NO...it's a card with tissue...
Today's challenge at
Friends of Speedy TV aka FOSTV...
is to use tissue on your project...

I learned a new technique that I just love...
I think it's called Felted Cardstock...
I found it on Splitcoaststampers...
In short it's adding Tissue Paper Napkins to your cardstock...
it's a great tutorial
It has a great walk thru tutorial as well as a great video tutorial...

Well I used a tissue paper instead of Party Napkins for my project...

I took a piece of this great tissue paper and 'glued' it onto my white cardstock...
and it worked out great...
go to the Splitcoaststampers tutorial on Felted Cardstock for more info...
I used a Stampin Up flower punch and a paint sample thing,
for the flowers...oh what a great idea to recycle those out of date
paint chip samples...

Want to own this darling stamp set?

Well all you have to do is create a card using tissue paper,
link your post to Challenge 70 @ FOSTV
it's open for 1 week, Monday - Sunday...
if you use Mark's Finest Papers a Heinrich Co stamp your project will be
worth 2 entries...but you don't have to use a MFPaHc stamps...

this weeks tutorial is taught by ...
ME !!!

I am so excited to share ...
Challenge 45
Stand Up Z Fold Card

Are you ready?

Lets get started...

here is what you will need...

Card base 4 ¼ x 11   ~ score @ 2 ¾ & 5 ½ on the long side
Base card stock color 3 x 4 ¼ and a 2 ¾ x 4 plain card stock to stamp front main image on
Mat designer series papers 4 x 2 ½ & 4 x 5 ¼
Adhesive of choice

Flower or Button or something to put at the top to secure it for displaying. (I used a brad to secure the flower to the back base card and covered it with a charm.)

Fold card at the 5 ½ score and then at the 2 ¾ score fold it back to the back edge of the card, creating a ‘Z’ in your card base…

Add your designer series papers as shown.

Stamp your image/images on the 2 ¾ x 4 plain card stock.

Adhere the stamped image to the 3 x 4 ¼ card stock base.

Place the matted stamped image over the front half of the z fold card, ONLY putting adhesive on the bottom to attach it to the Z card base…as shown.

Now add an embellishment to the top of the back, this will hold the card together so when you stand it up it will not fall over or collapse down.

How fun was that...?

Now it's up to you...
Join in on the fun...
Follow this tutorial and
look for Challenge # 45

Then link your project up with the inlinkz tool...

It's an All White Affair at FOSTV this week...

This week's challenge is
ALL WHITE
not all right...lol..

Challenge 67 at Friend's of Speedy TV

I pulled out some more of those paint samples and
cut a few butterflies with my friends punches...
I had so much fun, punching different things...
I need to invest in a few more punches myself...
or better yet if anyone has some to spare I will
be happy to take them off your hands...lol...
Oh I am funny sometimes...

well here is what I did with those punches and paint chip samples...

Sorry you can't see the sentiment... I tried everything to keep it all white...
but the sentiment reads...
'Peace be with you'
it's from a new stamp set by

When I was making this card, all I could think of is
Texture, Texture and more Texture...
it turned out pretty but...
I think I would have to use some black ink for the sentiment next time...

Ok so you know the drill...make your all white card
and link it up with the linky tool on
Join in on the fun...
you could win a stamp set
remember you do NOT have to use a stamp by
MFPaHc, but if you do your project gets 2 entries...
Pretty nice...I love how they stamp such clean images...
they are truly a great quality clear cling stamp...
and so versatile too...

c ya all later...

It's A MyGrafico Monday...

Hey, what's up with this beautiful weather?

It's great to have such wonderful spring...

Well today I decided to do a scrapbook page
maybe even get back into the swing of things...
and start to scrapbook again...
wouldn't that be so much fun...heehee

I used an svg cut file from MyGrafico,
The artist is PPbN Cuts...

I just love her look and all the smiley faces...
what a great designer of svg files...

Oh you want to see the file...ok

Now look at that...so darling...I love the way they cut too...It's a great design...
I will say that there are a lot of layers to each element, which can be a great plus...
lots of detail...she also includes png, eps and jpeg file formats so if you have a Cameo, like me, you can do the print and cut if you don't want to do a bunch of paper piecing...

Well here is the scrapbook page I created with this darling file...

I was looking for some important papers when I ran across some long lost photos...
these were just a few...lol...

I paper pieced some of the elements but the title I did print and cut on...but then added
the sun, and paper pieced it to give it some dimension...
I really like how this turned out...
Thanks for stopping by and checking out my project today...
Have a happy week &

I stamped the cup cake image from the

then added the sentiment and twine and button...
Oh yeah I did emboss the card front or background with one of my newest
embossing folders...I just love embossing stuff...
Easy Peasy...Clean and Simple...

Now head on over to the Thrifty Stamper's long list of tutorials...
and pick one to use...it gets me inspired to have a new tutorial or new tool
